Frequently Asked Questions

FAQs for Children and Family Centres

What is a Children and Family Centre?

Our Centres are a hub of activity – we facilitate vital early support services and we deliver activities and support to help children thrive and strengthen families within the community. This is done in our designated centres or at other venues in the community such as community centres, libraries or church halls.

Who can access the services?

Services in our Centre support families with children from conception to 19 years old (or up to 25 years old for young people with special educational needs or disabilities). Please look at our individual offer by area and see what our partners deliver from our Centres.

What kind of activities and support do you offer?

We provide a range of services that are delivered directly to children and their families. Our groups focus on play and development, and we also support families through information sharing, signposting and referrals to partner agencies

Can I attend groups if I don’t live in the area?

Our services are available to all families living in Warwickshire and tend to be accessed by families living in the local area – you are welcome to contact us to discuss your situation.

How do I book a session?

Please check our schedule to see how you can come along to groups, some may require booking via Eventbrite, some may require filling out referral or request for service form and some can just be dropped into.

What other organisations operate from your Centres?

We have a range of organisations delivering out of our Centres, they provide Health services, Mental Health and wellbeing, Young Carers, CSE/CSA, Counselling and Parenting and Family Support

How can I volunteer with you?

Our Children and Family Centres are always looking for dedicated volunteers to support our offer, whether you can lend a hand at our stay and plays, provide some gardening assistance or help our admin team we’d love to hear from you.
